Yesterday Korah and I went to visit Alice. The old folks up there on the 3rd floor have brain loss so they're not allowed to even stand up. If they do get up, a loud annoying alarm goes off. Alice doesn't have a good memory but she did recognize us. She introduced us to her friend Margaret, another old person sitting in the rocker next to hers. Even though she doesn't know our names and she said we were her relatives. The other lady didn't believe her, Alice called her "doubting Thomas." :) Alice is a very sweet old lady, Korah has know her since like 1993. Her "neighbour lady" at the nursing home was really messed up and said that we didn't really know Alice. Maragret said she would call up Alice's kids Sal and Anthony and Frannie. And she said you don't even remember your own boys? Which this was all made up and made Alice even more confused, but Korah and I couldn't help laughing even though it wasn't really funny. But Alice didn't get upset she just said "well if it will make you feel better just go ahead and call them." Then Margeret kept saying over and over, "Of all the times I was at your house I never ever ever saw them." Then we sang some songs and another lady was singing along to "In my heart there rings a melody." Alice liked our singing and said to her neighbour Margeret "wasn't that a beautiful song" and she replied, "Of all the times I was at your house I never ever ever heard that song." Oh well, we had a good time visiting anyway.
