first day of work.

I had a great first day of work at bear rock junction corn maze. Got a tour of the kitchen and made some hotdogs and snowcones. Learned the basics of the register. So yeah it was slow at first but I'm sure in the coming weeks it'll be less boring. This yearthe maze is a turtle surfing with dolphins.

BLOOD bloodyblood

Guess what ... my blood type is O-.... and around here apparently there have been a lot of accidents. So the blood bank is low on blood. But... I was at the center today. But I was just 2points low on iron!!! Stupid egg and yogurt bfst!!! Should have had raisens... but the moths had got into them... again. Keeping them in the fridge now.... got cantalope and oranges and grapefruit!!! Hopefully go again after school mon. Yep thats right School starts MONDAY!!! Wayyyyy too soon. Didn't even go to the ocean or ANYTHING this year... feel bored. Hope I get the job at the corn maze!!! :D l8r dude!

guinea pigs!!! a topic i adore

Saw the most CUTE guinea pigs for free at the store today. I'm glad they found a good home. One was prego :D no wonder someone sent them off! Baby guineas are the CUTEST!!! they aren't even hairless when they're born. can you imagine the little puffle lumps! The last one there they are only 1 day old. I havent had any since I was 10. They are amazing pets! My sister's named Chester would go from the living room... around the corner... jump up stairs and into his cage which was 1 ft off the ground! Sadly I think he got ringworm and we gave him away. Mine i name Love because on her bottom she had a black shaped heart. I loved her to no end! They were only $5 each at a special animal auction. We had gone there looking for hamsters but found none... so guinea pigs were the next best thing! My mom even went back the next month and got a third cailco one we named callie rose. We took so many pics of them... never got em developed though. We took more pics of our animals then of people! lol kinda ridiculous. I wanna get some again sometime... maybe if someone is tired of theirs or something. But I got my hands full at the moment with gerbils... soon to be parents! Anyone want a gerbil? free!

hope i can handle this. man im tired. school starts in 4 days. can hardly believe it. Applied for a job down the road at the mini-golf/corn maze. feels like i should have gone on a vacation... but no its almost sepetember and that means almost winter... almost spring... almost next summer and I'll have to make a decision. If I take a year off and do my own things... or go to college. The goal for me becoming a teacher is starting to become kinda overwhelming. So I'm leaning towards becoming a sonogram technician. It'll make everyone happy and plus its only 2 years of school and it... pays well. Right now ... this moment... I'm just focusing on getting through this year. Unpleasent suprise today... wanna talk to my new friend Heather... never did get together this summer. oh and RIP Heather. I remember about this time last year I was also making a huge decision. I kept putting it off... but i finally did it. Time does heal. Just remember that. oh and here is a rhyme i made up today.

God is Good! I am back home because the trip wasen't what I expected and I got homesick. But God has been answering so many of my prayers! I think this summer will be the best ever! I have new friends and my family is so great. God Bless and keep looking forward!

My summer so far

I was a counselor at Piedmont Valley Youth Bible Camp. I gained such a blessing. The week wasn't easy, but looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. I made lots of new friends and learned a lot. I learned how to really rely on God.
I was an assistant in Photography class and Wilderness Survival Class. I enjoyed both, but I was glad I didn't have to sleep in the wilderness. I did help build the shelter a few girls slept in.
This Friday I'm off to Syracuse! At first I thought they didn't accept me on the L.E. trip. However, they were just late in sending out the packets. So I'm going after all! I can't wait to see how God will work this summer!

Going away

I've been thinking about a way to leave the house and DO something this summer besides staying around the house. I was invited to do colportering [selling religious books door to door] several months ago but I turned it down. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do this summer. I kept praying about it, and recently I have had some life changing things happen. Just when I needed it, a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to go colportering in NY this summer. Three of my friends are going, and it won't be too far from home. I am so excited! Of course at first my mom wasn't too happy about it, but she gave in and I mailed my application today. Thanks for your prayers friends, and please continue. God is Good!
