One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children.

The teacher asked a little boy: Tommy do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.
TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the
sky.
TEACHER: Did you see God up there?
TOMMY: (!) No.
TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there. Possibly he just doesn't exist.

A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions.

Summer Camp 2006!!!

Thanks to Karen and Paul, I will be going to summer camp from the 18th to the 25th. I'm going with my friend Korah, age 16; and my sister Maranda, age 12. I'm 14 so I have three more years until I'm kicked out of the kids range and into the counsolers!! lol... but there are some 15 yr. old counsolers, no kidding! I'm going to have a blast, just please keep me in your prayers. I don't want Satan ruining it all for me... He's done it before... This time I just want to get away and be alone with God at PVBYC! Piedmont Vally Bible Youth Camp!! yeah!! I just hope I'm ready... I don't want bad thoughts clouding my mind and making life hard for me to think straight...

But God has other plans for her life. He gave her anew career, anew "mother" and anew fiance~. She surrendered all to Jesus, she laid it all on the alter, and found what she had been seeing he whole time.

My weekend and June 4th

Dear Friends,
I want to tell you all about my weekend.

On Friday I did chores, talked on the phone and made plans for the weekend.
(fun fun fun!)

On Sabbath, went to Sabbath School. Then a suprise for me was that Brittani... a girl from my sister Maranda's junior class was baptized... by the new pastor, Mr. Dekle. The baptism was really heart touching. Sermon was by the new pastor. He has seven children: four older boys and three younger girls. After the service was potluck, there were many guests.

After church the Youth Group went on a L-O-N-G hike in this L-O-N-G loop walking trail. I bet we went 3/4ths the way then turned back round! LOL After the hike we had a campfire in the Lepage's backyard... with baked potatoes (I brought the potatoes, clean and washed and rapped in foil), big franks (vegetarian hotdogs...), and lots of potatoe chips, and candy bars! I had a giant tootsie roll... I shared half of it though to avoid geting too sick... Ice Cream too... After all it was a suprise birthday party in descuise! lol

There wasn't a birthday CAKE persay... that would be a tad too messy...but there were birthday cupcakes!!! I'll have to post some pictures...
