I have been doing pretty well on my violin. I still haven't bought a tuner, but I will soon! I also want to get a pitch pipe with all the notes to help us sing better. (Speaking of my sister and I). And a mini accordion, just to play around on. Pretty soon I plan on doing a special music at church. I will do either "
As the deer" or a medley of "
Fairest Lord Jesus, My Jesus I love thee, & I love you Lord." With 2 verses of each hymn. Which one do you think I should do? And maybe even "Joyful Joyful we adore thee" on the violin sometime with piano accompaniment.
As Korah said, spring is here. The weather has been cool but pleasant.
I'll post some pictures when I can.
It rained today, and the grass turned green. I just love the refreshing rain! It reminded me of the hymn "Showers of Blessing."

There shall be showers of blessing:
This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Savior above.
Refrain
Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need:
Mercy drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.
There shall be showers of blessing,
Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
Sound of abundance of rain.
Refrain
There shall be showers of blessing;
Send them upon us, O Lord;
Grant to us now a refreshing,
Come, and now honor Thy Word.
Refrain
There shall be showers of blessing:
Oh, that today they might fall,
Now as to God we’re confessing,
Now as on Jesus we call!
Refrain
There shall be showers of blessing,
If we but trust and obey;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
If we let God have His way.
