The world of Narnia
Yesterday we went to a book fair at my brothers school. My mom bought (among other books) the complete set of Narnia books. I've already finished the first two. In total there are seven.
1. The Magician's Nephew,
2. The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. (the movie is based on)
3. "the horse and his boy" I'm reading right now.
4. Prince Caspian (they're making a movie and it's coming out this summer.)
5. The voyage of the dawn treader
6. the silver chair
7. The last battle
I'll probably finish the whole set this week. I read 2 of them yesterday, and today I'll probably read 2 more. Either they're small books or I'm a fast reader. They're very exciting, I can't put them down without thinking about what will happen next.

Liberty Bell & Charter of Privileges
Before the united states, when Pennsylvania was just a colony, there were some problems with the government. So William Penn, the founder of pennsylvania, decided he would try to settle the problems of government and called a special meeting of the Assembly. He proposed that they give the assembly all the law-making powers, set up a one house legislature, and give the Governor veto powers. This was called the Charter of Privileges.
Fifty years later, the charter was so valued by the people of PA that they wanted to honor it's birthday in 1751 with a celebration. The following year a bell was cast in London and sent to PA.
We all know this bell as the Liberty Bell. It's currently on a postage stamp, and it's very popular. It's called a "forever" stamp, because you will be able to use it even when the postage rates increase in the near future.

Happy Easter!
I hope you all had a happy easter. It was just a normal relazing day for me... didn't do anything special. I didn't have any candy either which is probably a good thing. We did get easter bunnies, and not fake ones, real ones! But they're not just for easter, they're a part of our family now. Their names are Missy-Daisy and Chole.
Missy-daisy likes to kiss, so her nickname is missy kissy. Chole is smaller, and softer.
We are buying an outdoor/indoor hutch for them soon. But for now they have a temporary cage in the laundry room. It isn't quite warm enough outdoors for them yet.
Here's some pictures:

time travel
What is time? Is time travel possible? For centuries, these questions have intrigued mystics, philosophers, and scientists. Much of ancient Greek philosophy was concerned with understanding the concept of eternity, and the subject of time is central to all the world's religions and cultures. Can the flow of time be stopped? Certainly some mystics thought so. Angelus Silesius, a sixth-century philosopher and poet, thought the flow of time could be suspended by mental powers:
Time is of your own making;
its clock ticks in your head.
The moment you stop thought
time too stops dead.
