moving on in

We've been sleeping in the new house for several days now. We really love it there. I can't wait until school starts so I'll actually have the time to enjoy the outdoors and stuff. Right now I'm at the library, can't wait until we get internet at the new house. Maranda is picking out a bunch of books. I don't see when she'll have the time to read them all. She's always complaining how shes so tired and stuff but the truth is she doesn't work half as hard as I do... I've been wanting to watch alvin and the chipmunks movie for so long and we fially rented it and I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. But I'm going to watch it this evening. Not much else going on... I'll sign out now. God Bless.

hey everyone

so hows it going. i am kinda tired out {and yes its only sunday} but other then *yawn* being sleepy i am doing ok. work was fun today. it thunderstormed pretty bad but no one got hurt so thats good. It has been storming alot pretty bad around here lately. Last Fri I think it was, Aquablast got hit by lightning. Well I think we'll be moved in to the new house pretty soon. We're going to take the beds over today, and of course that means the pets have to go too. :) Thankfully we only have one tank and 3 bowls of fish to move. I'm letting brent's fish stay with mine and mom's last fish died. I'm going to miss our garden, but we'll have land to make another even bigger one next year. There's already a peach tree {peach branches pictured in previous posts} and a grapevine and a volly ball net in the backyard.
We got paint from home depot for us kids to paint our bedrooms. Brent and lala will have their room purple and blue. Mandy and I picked out blue & green. The green paint is called "pucker up" because it's so green like limes that make your mouth pucker up. lol
Mom finished using our new vacumm shampooer to clean the whole new house. I haven't been there yet but I'm sure it smells delightfully fresh! :)
well i think thats all for now. soory no pictures this time but there will be more coming {the pictures are still on my camera and mandys computer is packed away so... yeah}

July 12 - lotsa news

Today was my dad's 40th birthday. We just watched "The Water Horse" and had a yummy oatmeal cake my mom made.

I have vacation from Tues-Tues. I got my paycheck yesterday, $395. We're moving next Monday hopefully. That's why I got off work so I can help with the moving.

I'd better got go bed now because I have to work at 8:30 *yawn* I had a long nap this afternoon so thats good.

ZOO TYCOONIST

I love playing zoo tycoon! Pretty soon I'll be an expert player... I haven't got to play zoo tycoon 2 much yet. I just got it out of the box today.

We also got the marine mania expansion pack.

Zoo tycoon 2 is so much more fun than the old one. I want to get the extint aniamals expansion sometime too. They even have extra things and stuff you can download for your game. Kinda like special "bonus features".

driving vs flying

Many people find it hard to believe, but air travel is much safer than driving. Only 1 person in 4,600,000 will die in an air crash, whereas 1 in 125 will die in a vehicle collision. Air travel is safer for several reasons. One reason is because the air-travel system is more strictly controlled. Secondly, standards for pilots and airplanes are tougher. Lastly, many more people travel in vehicles than in planes. ~ taken from my school divers course :)

Well my foot is all better, which is an answer to my prayers. Nothing much else to say except that tomorrow is my day off so I'll be home if anyone wants to chat. I have 6 mosquito bites on my left arm which are really annoying me. I've heard west nile is going around... I'm really worried about it but it is kinda weird to think that bug bites could give you such a bad sickness. well thats all 4 now ta-ta

splinters & fireworks.

Another week at work over. I got a really small splinter in the bottom of my foot. It's really calloused so it took a lot of digging to get it out. It's really sore and lots pus came out. I just hope and pray it gets better soon, there's nothing else to do!
Tonight we might go see fireworks, I don't know. I do have to work early tomorrow. I've seen so many in my life already. Maybe I should just stay in bed and rest my foot. Right now I have charcoal on it. Hopefully it will get all the yucky stuff out.

It's kinda weird to say this but I can hardly wait until school starts again! Summer will be over in 2 months! YEA!!!

Today was another day at work, I had first shift, 9:45-5:30 . Since I was kinda sick monday and didnt go to work, I am going to work Thursday instead. Tomorrow is inservice day (1 hour working on our skills) so I have to get there an hour earlier. *yawn* makes me tired just thinking about it. Well I'm going to go play zoo tycoon now.... can't wait until we get zoo tycoon 2 in the mail!!! :)
