I finished my afghan
enjoying the outdoors with my bro and sis
Today is 79 degrees and very sunny and beautiful outside with a gentle beeze. We even had Sabbath School outside today because it's so beautiful and being in a little room with 12 teenagers and 2 teachers gets kinda crowded. :) It was fun even though it was a little hard hear with the traffic and the wind on our ears. But we had a great time. The lesson was on Hope. Next week I'm teaching the lesson on Life. It'll be my first time. They're trying to get the youth more involved in being leaders etc... Three of the youth shared about their recent mission trip to Mexico. They sounded like they had an amazing time preaching doing VBS and painting and fixing up a camp/dormitory. I really wish I could go on a mission trip. I'll have to save up an go next year maybe... maybe with Marantha Missions or something like that. I have always really wanted to go on one but haven't had an oppurtunity yet. Plus I really want to go on one with people I already know. But where there is a will there is a way and anything is possible with God. Well God Bless and I hope you enjoy the pics! :)

My creek fish
My sister and I have been wanting to catch something in the creek, frogs, crayfish, whatever. So we went down there yesterday afternoon when it was really sunny. I went it and the nice cool water went up to my waist. I took the net we bought and tried to catch some fish we saw. It took like 10 minutes before I finally caught one. Then I got better at it by being very slow, sitting in the water waiting for the fish to come close, then, bam! Got him in the net. I caught 4 little fish and 1 big one. My sister caught the other two. I brought home some rocks and put them in my tank with my fish. Mandy says the big one creeps her out. Does it creep you out? It's kinda sick with a fungus so hopefully I can cure him with my medicine. Maybe thats the only reason I caught him, I don't know. He went under this rock and I stuck my net in and got him. He is very fast though. They all are still getting used to their new home. I feed them goldfish flakes. I might have to let the big one go, I don't know yet. It was so much fun catching them and putting them here in my room where I can sit and watch them. :) When I was down getting the rocks from the creek, mandy asked my dad to come see them in the bucket. So they went upstairs, and mandy screamed, for lo and behold, the big fish was on the floor flopping around! My dad scooped it up in his hands and put it back in the bucket. I was afraid they'd try to escape, so at the creek I had put a big rock over the top of the bucket. But then we got home and I thought mandy was watching them but she wasen't. Oh well it's a funny story anyway. Another funny thing is a long time ago, when I was maybe 11, my sister and I got our first goldfish. And that night my dad had a dream it jumped out of the tank and was flopping on the floor. :) Anyway, hope you got a kick outa that. You probably think I am like really weird now for doing this kinda stuff. :)
